Lliswerry Llizards FC is a dynamic community interest company and football club based in Lliswerry, dedicated to providing exceptional junior football opportunities for local youth. Founded in November 2022 by a group of passionate parents, the club emerged from a desire to improve the management of junior football in the area. By rebranding from the former Lliswerry Stars, the club has established a fresh identity and a renewed sense of community pride. Operating from Lliswerry High School, the club benefits from top-tier facilities, including expansive grass pitches and a sports hall, allowing for continued growth. With over 165 boys and girls currently registered across 14 teams, the club is a bustling hub of activity. Affiliated with the Gwent FA and holding Silver accreditation from the FAW, Lliswerry Llizards FC prides itself on its high standards and strong volunteer support. The club remains committed to being a focal point for the Lliswerry ward, fostering athletic development and community spirit through the beautiful game.
